On washers and dryers, check under the lid, behind the door, or on the back panel. On dishwashers, look on the edge of the door or the tub frame. On ranges, check behind the storage drawer, the oven door frame, or the back panel.

Can you guarantee the diagnosis?

No. We provide a likely diagnosis based on the symptoms, model information, and what the technician can see and hear. Video cannot replace every in-person test. We tell you clearly how confident we are.

What happens if the problem cannot be diagnosed remotely?

The technician tells you plainly, documents what was ruled out, and recommends the next step, which may be an in-person inspection by a local service company.

Can you help me install the part?

We can talk through the general replacement procedure and the tools involved so you know what is involved. You should never perform work beyond your skill or comfort level, and some repairs require a licensed professional.

Can I buy the part from Appliance FixLine?

Yes. When the technician identifies a part, it appears in your diagnostic report with a purchase button. Some parts are special order or supplier fulfilled, and we will tell you which.

Is the diagnostic fee applied toward my part?

When the part credit is active, we apply a credit toward a qualifying part purchased through Appliance FixLine within the stated window. The credit applies only to qualifying parts and is not a cash refund.

What if I need an in-home technician?

If the repair needs hands-on service, we say so. Your report includes what we found so a local technician does not have to start from zero.

Can you help with gas appliances?

Accepted Answer

We can help with troubleshooting and part identification on gas appliances, but gas-related repairs may require a licensed professional. We will not walk an unqualified person through gas-line work.

We can help identify whether a sealed-system failure is likely, but sealed-system repair requires specialized equipment and proper certification and cannot be completed by the customer.

You can reschedule or cancel through your dashboard or your secure appointment link up to the cutoff shown on your confirmation. Cancellations inside the cutoff window may not be refundable because the technician's time is reserved for you.

Unused parts in original packaging may be returned within the stated return window and may be subject to a restocking fee. Installed electrical and electronic parts have limited return eligibility where legally permitted.
