Where we stop
Some appliance failures cannot be fully confirmed through video alone. Certain tests require specialized tools, disassembly, sealed-system equipment, gas-service qualifications, or an in-person inspection. Appliance FixLine provides guided troubleshooting and a likely diagnosis but does not guarantee that every problem can be diagnosed remotely.
- Gas components. We troubleshoot and identify parts, but gas-line and gas-valve work may require a licensed professional.
- Sealed refrigeration systems. Compressor, evaporator, and refrigerant work requires certification and specialized recovery equipment.
- Live electrical testing. We will never walk an unqualified person through working on energized circuits.
